Eagles Nest Wildlife hospital needs your help as yet again we have heaps of sick and injured native animals that require round the clock care and feeding. Currently we need donations to buy food, pay medical expenses and other running costs. All donations are tax deductable and are used locally to care for local wildlife by the dedicated volunteers at Eagles Nest Wildlife hospital and its licenced carers. Solstice is seeking a new loving home. I rescued Solstice from being run over as a young pup in June last year, he was very malnutritioned and I nursed him back to health, now he is a year old, has a beautiful, placid nature and is a great guard dog, he gets on well with other dogs and loves to play. I have to give him up as I will be leaving the country over the next few months. Solstice is a desexed great dane x irish wolfhound and needs regular exercise, lots of love and company. Tableland Respite Care Association are hosting an Expo for carers of a person with a disability. There will be a number of stalls providing information and resources on disability support services.

The Expo is being held on the 12th November at the Atherton High School Hall from 12 pm onwards.
